What we do
Where therapy meets real life, work, and independence.
An integrated ecosystem where individuals with disabilities receive therapy inside a real, paid workplace — not a classroom, not a clinic — so training, income, and independence happen at the same time.
Therapy services — Bloom, Grow, Thrive Therapies
Clinical services delivered by licensed providers inside the workplace, during and adjacent to real paid work, using the work itself as the therapeutic context:
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Speech Therapy (ST)
- Physical Therapy (PT)
If a task arises at the counter, the coaching happens at the counter. If a customer interaction calls for a speech-therapy prompt, the speech therapist is already there.

- Setting
- A working café and bookstore in Spanish Fork, Utah
How support works on the floor
On-floor support is behavior-analytic, delivered by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under BCBA supervision using Total Tasking: every shift, every step, with support. The learner works through every step of a real task — like pulling a latte — with prompts only at the steps where independence isn't yet established. Skills are taught in the real environment, with measurable per-step progress.
- Skills are taught in the moment, not in isolation.
- Individuals train, work, and earn simultaneously — every shift is a paid shift, and every shift is a learning environment.
- Therapy happens inside the real business — no artificial separation between "training mode" and "working mode."
The workplace — Whole Latte Love & Books
A real café and bookstore, open to the public. Trainees with disabilities are paid employees — not volunteers, not interns — working alongside baristas, managers, and clinicians embedded on the floor. Customers order, pay, and are served just like at any other café; the training and therapy happen inside the normal flow of business.
The space itself is part of the support system:
- Accessible counters for physical accommodation;
- Visual guides for sequencing and recall;
- Color-coded systems for task and inventory organization;
- RBTs embedded in the workflow — on the floor with trainees, not in a back office.
The WorkAbility Coffee & Community Hub
Our flagship site in Spanish Fork serves three functions in one place, all at the same time:
- A functional small business — real commerce, real revenue, consistent public foot traffic;
- A workforce training environment — hands-on skill development embedded in an authentic setting;
- A community gathering space — flexible seating, community art, and welcoming design that fosters everyday inclusion.
The Hub is shovel-ready: fully defined in scope, financially structured, and on a 12-month timeline from funding confirmation.
Workforce partnerships
Beyond our own sites, we build structured, supported hiring partnerships with local employers who want an inclusive workforce pipeline — with the scaffolding to make it work, so the operational burden doesn't fall on the employer. If your business is interested, we'd love to talk.
"The disability is not the problem. The accessibility is the problem."
— Mohamed Jemni
